From a Sketch to a Life Well Traveled.

There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about Etch A Sketch Day.

For many of us, it brings back memories of twisting those little white knobs, trying to create something beautiful on a blank screen. Sometimes the lines went exactly where we wanted. Sometimes they didn’t. But every masterpiece started the same way—with an empty canvas and a little imagination.

Travel is remarkably similar.

Very few extraordinary journeys begin with a fully formed itinerary. Most begin with a simple thought.

“I’d love to see Antarctica someday.”

“I’ve always dreamed of cruising the Rhine.”

“One day I’d like to visit Japan.”

“Maybe it’s finally time to go to Egypt.”

It’s just a sketch.

Then something wonderful happens.

A conversation.

Questions about what matters most to you.

Do you want adventure or relaxation? Wildlife or history? River cruise or expedition ship? Luxury hotel or boutique hideaway? Do you want to celebrate an anniversary, reconnect with family, or simply take that trip you’ve promised yourself for years?

Little by little, those rough lines become something much more detailed.

Before long, you’re standing beneath the Eiffel Tower at sunset.

Watching castles drift by as you sail through Germany’s Rhine Gorge.

Walking beneath cherry blossoms in Japan.

Exploring the ancient temples of Egypt.

Sailing among the icebergs of Antarctica while curious penguins wander past.

Or discovering a hidden village you’ll still be talking about decades later.

That’s the part of my work I love most.

Yes, I book river cruises, expedition voyages, luxury hotels, safaris, and tailor-made journeys around the world.

But booking isn’t really what I do.

I help people take an idea—sometimes nothing more than a sentence that begins with “I’ve always wanted to…”—and turn it into one of the defining memories of their lives.

It’s why every itinerary I create is different.

Every client has their own story.

Their own priorities.

Their own version of what an unforgettable journey looks like.

And every one of those journeys starts exactly the same way.

With a blank page.

A conversation.

A sketch.

The beautiful thing about an Etch A Sketch is that if you don’t like the picture, you simply shake it and begin again.

Life doesn’t always give us that luxury.

We don’t know how many opportunities we’ll have to visit the places we’ve dreamed about or share those experiences with the people we love.

That’s why I’m such a believer in taking the trip.

Because the greatest souvenirs aren’t the ones you bring home in your suitcase.

They’re the stories you tell, the people you meet, the places that change how you see the world, and the memories that stay with you long after you’ve unpacked.

The best adventures aren’t drawn on an Etch A Sketch.

They’re lived.

❤️ So here’s my question for you…

If you could sketch your next adventure anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I’d love to help you turn that sketch into your next unforgettable journey.
