My Favourite Travel Partners

I have favourite companies I work with, and partner with to arrange my clients’ travel. I have companies I work with that I love working with to plan clients’ trips, and love sending clients with them, because I KNOW the clients will have a fantastic experience. It excites me to work with those partners, and it excites me to send clients away with those partners, because I know the clients will come home with fantastic memories, and they will have every care taken care of. I can rest easy when clients are travelling with these companies because I trust the partners, and know they’ve vetted all the people they work with (tour guides, hotels, cruises, shore excursions, etc) – and they are a class act.  Of course, issues can and do arise in travel – no one is immune to that no matter how good they are; but the hallmark of each of my favourite travel suppliers is that if and when issues do arise, I have confidence in them to solve the problem, and we work together to ensure the issue is addressed, and the client has the best possible experience.

Today, we’ll talk about Tauck Tours.

Here are some snaps of me on a Lindblad ship, talking with Ashish Sangrajka of Big Five Tours, on a Southern World trip to Australia – and a couple more with Tauck.

I am proud to be a Tauck certified travel advisor – I had to go to Germany to take an intensive training course with them onboard one of their river cruise ships. (That’s a picture of me with Arthur Tauck and his wife above, and a picture of me with Mary Murrin of their river cruise department.) My own family has travelled with Tauck (that’s a picture of us getting onboard a river cruise ship above too.)

What I love about Tauck is that they really believe “how you see the world matters.” They’ve been around for over 90 years now, starting in the US north east as a touring company. But they’ve expanded from the Canadian Rockies, to taking on and leading the way with river cruise touring (they consistently win top river cruise company), and they do small ship cruising, land tours around the world (their yellow roads of Europe is extremely popular – the yellow roads are the ones on the maps that are the smaller backroads rather than the autobahns), they do Tauck exotics too with trips to China, Japan, etc, and they do trips to Antarctica and Australia and beyond.

I am fortunate that my Vision Travel (my host agency) just had a huge event with Tauck in Toronto, so they’re allowing me to use the cruise/ event night promo – so – for new to Tauck Canadian clients (who reside in Canada) who book in Canadian dollars, I can extend you this promo. I can get you two free nights (that’s two pre nights, or two post nights, or one of each) – if you do a river cruise, for example, you could get two free nights in a hotel pre-cruise – same with a land tour, etc.   Tauck uses hotels such as the Four Seasons or Kempinski, so this is a huge benefit. Tauck now prices in Canadian dollars. So, they’re offering this promo to Vision clients only, since we sell so much Tauck.
