Coastal Grandmother

Lex Nicoleta coined the phrase “Coastal Grandmother” this year, and the trendy CG fashion style is now morphing into an aspirational lifestyle.

We love Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah, Martha Stewart, and Anne Hathaway. Casual linens, white button downs, wine, lemons, farmers markets, and beach life has our heart. And the inspiration continues with travel too, with a focus on making your own life as luxurious as you can. Healthy living and self care with a relaxed style. https://www.tiktok.com/@lexnicoleta

The obvious west coast spots that come to mind for CG travel style are Vancouver and Malibu. I work with clients to customize their bucket list trips, and often sprinkle in higher end Virtuoso wellness properties (with great extras that I can include) at spots like the Fairmont Pan Pacific, Ranch Malibu, or Pelican Hill. Perhaps a self-drive holiday in a convertible along the fantastic Pacific Coast Highway is of interest to you. We could even have you visit Napa wineries and go on to stay at spots like the Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur or Casa Palmero at Pebble Beach. Or pop over to Hawaii to see the sunsets at the Ritz-Carlton Maui Kapalua or get your self-care on in a big way at the Sensei Lana’i.

We can still get the beachy casual linen holiday if you’re in an east coast mood. I could set you up to stay at Fogo Island Inn in Newfoundland or the Muir in Halifax. There’s also the Carlyle in New York City – with maybe even a helicopter tour to the Hamptons. Or perhaps Zero George Street Hotel in Charleston is your style? Further south, there’s the Faena Hotel Miami Beach, the new Four Seasons in Fort Lauderdale, or maybe even classic Breakers at Palm Beach.

Of course, we’re not limited to Canada and the USA. We could take you to Palmaia, House of AiA in Playa del Carmen, or the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal. Go to some of the best beaches by visiting Anguilla and the Malliouhana. Or maybe get your beach and culinary vibe on at TheBodyHoliday in St. Lucia. Or go more exotic to the Maldives at Joali Being.

But there’s nothing like seeing a bowl of lemons in your kitchen at a villa in Tuscany, take cooking lessons with a Tuscan chef, and drink limoncello. Or visit the Grand Hotel Tremezzo in Lake Como. Maybe stay at the Lefay Resort & Spa in Lake Garda?

We could also take you to Paris where the wine and baguettes are best, and you can visit cute little hotels like Saint Germain Esprit – or maybe even Four Seasons Georges V. Maybe a day trip with a private car and driver to Champagne is of interest. Or a food and wine river cruise through Bordeaux.

Heck, why not also throw in a visit to see the blues and beaches in Santorini with a stay at Canaves Oia Boutique. Island hop on an ocean cruise through Greece.

Or maybe go further south to Tahiti or Australia? We could take you to an overwater bungalow like the Intercontinental, or an eco-lodge like The Brando. In Australia, there’s the Lizard Island Resort hotel, where you fly for an hour over the Great Barrier Reef to your island paradise – and you can walk from your suite to snorkel and lie on the beach.

CG style of travel is easy to achieve. Just let me help you make your own life luxurious. I got you covered. After all, my company is called Lush Life Travel.
