Join me on a Circumnavigation of Newfoundland

Circumnavigation of Newfoundland
Travel with Sheila – September 15, 2016
Turn cruisin’ on it’s ear. Come with me and Lindblad Expeditions

as we circumnavigate Newfoundland on September 15, 2016.
I am thrilled that I’m going to be showing off my home province of Newfoundland to clients.  Have a look at this fantastic electronic brochure. overview – Lindblad Newfoundland. (If you’d like the full electronic version with easier to read page-by-page, lemme know and I can email it to you. It was too large to include in the newsletter. I am also getting paper versions from Lindblad that I can share.)
Are you a fan of UNESCO World Heritage Sites? Did you know that Newfoundland has 3 UNESCO sites? They are the Viking Settlement at L’anse aux Meadows, Gros Morne National Park, and Red Bay Basque Whaling Station. See 3 sites.
“The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization(UNESCO) has identified just over 800 places in the world that are of outstanding natural and cultural significance. There are 17 in Canada, and3 are in Newfoundland and Labrador. Two of them – Gros Morne National Park and L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site – are located on the west coast of the Island of Newfoundland, and are only a few hours drive apart on the aptly named Viking Trail. The third – Red Bay National Historic Site – is part of the Labrador Coastal Drive. It can be reached via ferry from St. Barbe, Newfoundland, to Blanc Sablon, Quebec. From there it’s a short one-hour drive to the site.”

Come with me to see Newfoundland and Labrador up close and personal?
More details will follow, but here’s a description of the cruise.
And here’s a video (and yes, Lindblad has renamed the trip to reflect that Newfoundland is NOT a Maritime province. 🙂 But the video was made before the correction.)
Contact me if you’d like to join me. I have 5 cabins I’m holding – so there’s room for you to come along!
This is a unique opportunity to come home with me, but also sail with Lindblad and learn from their naturalists and National Geographic photographers onboard.
Next week, I’ll share what makes sailing with Lindblad such an incredible experience, and the value. But of course, call me with questions.  (Pricing below in USD.)
