Spotlight: From Expedition Traveller to the ACTA Main Stage

Spotlight: From Expedition Traveller to the ACTA Main Stage

I’m pretty excited to share this one. ❤️

For the second year in a row, I’ve been invited to speak at the ACTA Travel Industry Summit about one of my greatest travel passions: expedition cruising.

Last year, I shared my experiences in a breakout session. This year, ACTA has invited me back — this time to the Main Stage during the General Session, speaking to travel professionals from across the country as part of the panel Connecting Your Clients with Extraordinary Experiences.

And extraordinary experiences are exactly what expedition travel has given me.

I’ve explored Antarctica and Newfoundland & Labrador with Lindblad Expeditions, the Galápagos with Adventures by Disney and Silversea, Iceland with Aurora Expeditions, Quebec’s boreal forest with PONANT, and the Peruvian Amazon with International Expeditions.

Those journeys have reinforced something I believe strongly: expedition cruising is about so much more than Antarctica.

It might mean watching penguins among the icebergs, encountering wildlife in the Galápagos, exploring Iceland by Zodiac, listening to the sounds of the Amazon rainforest, or discovering spectacular wilderness much closer to home in Newfoundland & Labrador or Quebec.

On the ACTA Main Stage, I’ll be sharing some of those firsthand experiences and talking about how I use what I’ve learned to help my clients determine not only whether expedition travel is right for them, but which expedition is right for them.

Because the best journeys aren’t simply about where you go. They’re about what you experience, what you learn, and the stories you bring home.

That’s Return on Life. ❤️
