The Power of Collective Giving

Wellness isn’t only about travel, rest, or taking time for ourselves. Sometimes it’s about something even more powerful — community.

This week I had the privilege of attending another gathering of 100 Women Who Care Ottawa at Milestones Grill + Bar Lansdowne, and it was a beautiful reminder of how much impact can happen when people come together with a shared purpose.

The concept is simple but powerful:
Each woman commits to giving, and together we vote on local charities doing meaningful work in our community. When everyone follows through on their commitment, the impact multiplies instantly.

At this gathering we were honoured to support three organizations making a real difference in Ottawa:

💙 BGC OttawaWalk This Way Program
❄️ The Snowsuit Fund
🎗️ University of Ottawa Faculty of MedicineOvarian Cancer Research

It’s often called the “raindrop theory” — one drop may seem small, but together they create a ripple powerful enough to change lives.

And that’s exactly what nights like this remind me of.

❤️ Stronger together.
