It’s Time to Say G’Day

It’s time to say G’day!

It’s been long awaited.

Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced on 7th February 2022 that the international border would reopen on Monday 21st February to all visa holders who have received two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine.

So, I’m thrilled to share that Australia is now open for business again. And my colleagues and travel partners on the ground there can’t wait to welcome you back to Australia.

You can see the details here https://covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/preparing-to-travel-to-australia-from-overseas

From 21 February 2022, all visa holders who are fully vaccinated for international travel purposes can travel to Australia without a travel exemption. Unvaccinated visa holders will still need to be in an exempt category or hold an individual travel exemption to enter Australia.

With the Australia border re-opening for major markets, we’re already seeing air lift return. We’ve been seeing an update of the increased flight schedules to the South Pacific from Qantas, Air NZ, and Fiji Airways, and more.

With the recent Australia’s international borders reopening, a new Tourism Australia campaign has been launched internationally by the Minister for Trade, Tourism, and Investment, the Hon Dan Tehan MP to encourage fully travellers to book their next big holiday in Australia.

The Come and Say G’day – Don’t Go Small. Go Australia is about reminding travellers whether they are dreaming of discovery or looking for relaxation – Australia is the perfect destination for an epic adventure. Here in Australia, we have amazing icons which are known and loved around the world, and now is the time to remind you as a traveller of these things and showcase a number of our less known but equally spectacular experiences and destinations.

Remember – Australia is big. How big? Look at the map of Australia imposed over the map of Canada. You are not going to see it all on one trip, any more than you would see all of Canada on one trip. But I can work with you to focus on the parts that are most important to you, and how to see them in the best way possible, partnering with my folks on the ground.

Besides – you can plan a return trip!

And I can help you! It’s time to say G’Day!
