2 Cabins Available – Disney Fantasy – Apr.21.12 – Group Pricing

Disney’s new ship, the Fantasy, is pictured here – just out of the enclosed building dock at the Meyer Werft shipyard on January 8, 2012, reaching another key milestone in the construction process.  See http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/ships-activities/ships/fantasy/ and also see some industry blogs/ reports here http://www.ottawacitizen.com/travel/Disney+Fantasy+offers+more+kids+adults/6030285/story.html and http://blogs.portsandbows.com/portsandbows/blogs/portsandbows/archive/2012/01/17/disney-fantasy-bow-to-stern.aspx

I have group space on the Fantasy’s 3rd ever voyage, and it’s first Eastern Caribbean sailing, on April 21.12.  My own family is sailing, as well as about 10 other clients.  Unfortunately, one of my clients holding two cabins has had to cancel out because of a son’s hockey tournament. If I can replace her family’s details with a new booking simultaneous with cancelling her two cabins, I can get the new cabins at the same rate – which is ~$3500 less than the prevailing market rate.  That’s an awesome deal!

So – do you have an interest in being on the new DCL Fantasy?

Here are details – please let me know asap, however. I lose this on February 6, 2012; so we’d need full details and payment by February 5, 2012!

================================================

I have a promotional group with ~10 clients sailing on the new Disney Cruise Line’s Fantasy on Apr.21.12 for a 7 night cruise.  It’s the Fantasy’s 1st Eastern Caribbean sailing, and only it’s 3rd ever sailing.  (It won’t have its maiden voyage until the end of March.)

One client has to cancel the two cabins she’d deposited. She had a double cabin connecting to a triple cabin in a category 5C, balcony.  The rates inside my group are confirmed for the cabins I have – but final payment is due before Feb.6th. Rates outside the group are at least $3400 higher for the two cabins than what I have inside the group.  If I cancel the lady’s two cabins, the lower rates are gone – unless I can find a replacement, and can cancel and rebook simultaneously. New people can get my group rates.

Do you have any interest in sailing? Since there are two connecting cabins – the possibility is there for you to sail with your family. (The triple might be able to accommodate a quad…. the cabin itself can sleep four, and right now I could make it a quad – but Disney reserves the right to change its mind, as whether or not I can convert the group space of what I’m holding to larger depends on the numbers confirmed in each cabin category.)

By the way, a promotional group is only set up to get the lower rates. There is no need to interact with others on the group onboard the ship unless you chose to– it was set up solely to take advantage of pricing (there’s no combined group dinner, or activities planned)- and the ship is large enough, you don’t have to cross paths with someone unless you try.

I have to act quickly or I’ll lose the cabins. So, if it appeals to you, please let me know.  I cannot hold the space – so it’ll be first come, first served.

The current pricing for what I’m holding is for a double cabin for 1 adult and 1 12 year old (if two adults, the tax rates will change slightly) at $3208.74 USD, with the prevailing market rate being $1575.64 higher than what I have it at – or $4783.88.

The triple I’m holding is for 1 adult, 1 8 year old, 1 10 year old is at $4134.11 USD, with the prevailing market rate being $1823.71 than what I have it at, or $5957.82 USD.  (Tax rates will change if two adults, and/or we try to secure the 4th berth.)

Obviously, when the Fantasy does sail, rates will rise even more…. there is an awful lot of interest in the Fantasy.

Please call me at 613-837-0699 or email me at [email protected] if you’d like to secure one or both of these two cabins.
