A new place for my “must visit” list.
I had dinner last week with representatives from several stunning Rosewood hotels. And one of the properties I got to know a little was Caneel Bay in St. John. Caneel Bay is a Rosewood Hotel, and Vision 2000 has a special relationship with them. Not only is Caneel Bay one of our Virtuoso partners, but Vision 2000 is also a Rosewood Elite partner. By virtue of Vision’s relationship with Rosewood, and Virtuoso, this means I can negotiate special amenities on your behalf.
Starting on Christmas Eve, Air Canada will start offering direct flights on Saturday from Toronto into St. Thomas. So, the U.S. Virgin Islands will seem closer than ever before. So why not take advantage of the ease of access, and go visit Caneel Bay?
As the hotel notes on it’s website: “Situated on a 170-acre peninsula surrounded by the beauty of the Virgin Island National Park and seven pristine beaches, Caneel Bay is on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. With 3/5 of the island preserved under the national park system, the island remains the least commercial and most low key of the three USVI islands. This tiny Caribbean island getaway is only accessible by boat or ferry. Its beaches are considered to be some of the best in the world. The white sandy beaches shaded by seagrape trees and coconut palms make for a picture-perfect setting for Caribbean destination weddings, resort honeymoons, family gatherings and vacation escapes.”
For 2011, the Virtuoso amenities that I can negotiate on clients’ behalf include:
For 2011, Virtuoso guests receive:
- Upgrade on arrival, based upon availability
- Full American Breakfast for up to two in-room guests, served in the Caneel Bay Terrace restaurant from 7:30-10:30am daily
- A trip for two aboard our cocktail sunset cruise which sails on Thursdays and Sundays. For those who may not be at the resort on a Thursday or Sunday, A signed keepsake Aerial Photograph of Caneel Bay by renowned nature photographer, Steve Simonsen
Isn’t it time for you to go check it out yourself?
