I hope you can join us for this special evening, focusing on adventure travel – for solos (& others) with Exodus Travels.
I hope you can join us at the Heart & Crown in Ottawa’s Byward Market this coming Wednesday, April 26th at 6:30 pm.
I will be welcoming my friend, and business partner, from Exodus Travels, Tony Perdomo, Business Development Manager, Eastern Canada and U.S.A. on a visit to the Ottawa area. In addition to Tony, I have just learned that another colleague, and friend, Andrew Appleyard, International Sales Manager from the UK office of Exodus Travels will also be in Ottawa. and Andrew will join us for the presentation too. So, this evening is bound to be full of wonderful stories of inspiration about adventure travel.
Here’s a couple of snaps – with Julie and Tony of Exodus on the left, and with Sharmil and Andrew of Exodus on the right.
Andrew doesn’t get to Canada often, so I’m thrilled he’ll be in town, and that he’ll come along to the event.
Kindly note that Exodus has been creating and sharing adventure and activity holidays for over 40 years.
With more than 500 different itineraries and tours in 90 countries across all seven continents I’m sure I can help you find an adventure holiday to spark your wanderlust. Exodus has lots of wonderful options for couples, friends, and solo passenger itineraries. Solo passengers can join a regular scheduled itinerary on either a same sex share basis, or pay the reduced solo supplement for a single room. Did you know that 60% of their travelers are solo travelers? (And 40% of those folks are solo women.)
On the 26th, Tony, Andrew, and I will be sharing some wonderful active travel options for solo passengers (& others too). The event was initially struck as a solo evening, and we’ll still be outlining solo traveler options to travel on regularly scheduled Exodus small group departures (either with low solo supplements, or with same-sex share), as well as referencing some exclusively solo departures. But since I’ll have both Tony and Andrew at the event, we’ll also be outlining options for couples and friends too. No doubt it’ll be an evening full of exciting travel stories too! All (solos, couples, friends, etc.) – all are welcome to attend!
But just what is adventure travel? It means something different for all of us, for sure. It can be walking or hiking. Cycling. Or maybe just cultural exploration? Whatever your definition, our beautiful planet provides adventure in spades – iconic mountains, thunderous rivers and theatrical coastlines make the perfect playground for an activity holiday. You could escape on a cycling tour, marvel at the mountains on foot or on skis, come face to face with the world’s precious wildlife or delve deep into another culture. And you don’t necessarily need a travel partner to see it all!
I want to spend the evening outlining the breadth of adventure travel options with Exodus – so I’m highlighting just a couple of Exodus adventure trips for Tony and Andrew to focus on. Such as:
Walking:
– Walking the Prosecco Hills
– Walking the Amalfi Coast
Cycling:
– Cycle Vietnam
– Cycle Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama
Cultural:
– Peru and Inca Trail
– Iceland Northern Lights
– Taste of Cuba
Exotic:
– Highlights of Myanmar
– Festivals of Bhutan
I’ll highlight some of these trips in the trip samples below. But you’ll have to join us to learn more!
