Ah, Anguilla

This week, we’re looking at islands in the stream!  Ah, Anguilla – and some others – to inspire you to get away.  Nothing like a major snow storm this week in Ottawa (52 cm on one day!) to make you want to get away to sun and surf!

I love Anguilla. Let me know if you’ d like to visit this spectacular British Overseas Territory. It is only 3 x 16 miles big, and is just off the coast of St. Martin. Anguilla has no cruise ships, no all inclusives, no chain hotels, NO CROWDS, no fast food, and no jet skis – but it does have white powder ‘cool’ sand, beaches that have been rated the BEST IN THE WORLD, >125 restaurants on an island of 14,000 people that range from ‘feet in the sand’ beach bbq like Smokey’s at The Cove to the world’s best beach bar at Dune Preserve to sublime foodie 5* experiences such as at Blanchards Anguilla, fantastic sailing and snorkeling (and some diving too).
