Getting
onboard the Seabourn Spirit in December was a treat. It was my first cruise with Seabourn. And I knew from the experience of my colleagues, my training, and from booking Seabourn for clients, that I was in for a treat.
I didn’t realize how much of a treat it would be.
My colleauge, Alex Yates, and I were Virtuoso Voyageur Club hosts, so we were looking forward to representing Virtuoso, our luxury travel network, to host Virtuoso clients onboard the Spirit.
Before we got to work, however, we were welcomed at the gangplank, and then brought inside to get our photo id pictures taken. Champagne and chocolate greeted us.
It was tough to take!
And then we were showed to our rooms, and more champagne was waiting for us. It truly was a wonderful way to start a cruise. I’ve taken many cruises over the years, but I don’t recall ever being made to feel as welcomed, and as pampered, as I was the minute I walked onboard the Seabourn Spirit. With only 200 passengers onboard, your every wish is catered to. Getting onboard was just the beginning of a luxurious week!
