This morning, I’m pricing and booking two families on a couple of Disney Cruise Line’s sailings to Alaska.
Having sailed to Alaska with my own family of 4, I know how magical the experience is. It’s terrific to watch glaciers calf, ride the White Mountain Pass railway, and check out the ports of call like Ketchikan and Juneau.
Unfortunately for us, being Disney fanatics, we chose to sail to Alaska before Disney offered the sailing. Of course, we still had a great time with our family vacation onboard the Diamond Princess, but it would’ve been so much easier to sail with two wee kiddies had we been onboard the Disney Cruise Line. There are so many activities for kids, and Mickey’s onboard too!
If you’re thinking of taking the kids to see Alaska, why not sail with Mickey on the Disney Wonder next summer? There isn’t a lot of availability, but if you have a sail date in mind, give me a call, and we can see what will work for your family.
Disney is sailing 7 night cruises during each of the four weeks in June and July 2011, and during each of the five weeks in May and August 2011. The Disney Wonder sails roundtrip from Vancouver and goes through the inside passage with stops in Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan.
