There’s no greater excitement than hopping on a plane to go to Walt Disney World in Orlando. And Disney’s Magical Express motor coach shuttle just makes the experience that much more pleasant.
Once you land in the Orlando International airport, it’s always so much fun to catch the shuttle/ tram, and be whisked away to the luggage area.
You just enjoy your first peak of Florida sunshine, and follow the signs towards the luggage. Of course, you should say aloha to Mickey as you pass.
We booked our trip at the last minute, so there wasn’t time to receive those cool yellow luggage tags from Magical Express. If we had, we could have skipped the Magical Express kiosk at the ground floor, and just taken our voucher to the appropriate resort bus line. But, having booked our trip the day before, we just proceeded to the kiosk for the cast member there to print off our newly made reservation voucher for us.
We also just gave the cast member our Air Canada luggage tags – that way, Mickey promised to retrieve our luggage from the carousel, and deliver it to our hotel room later. (Just make sure you carry with you anything you might need, like medicine and bathing suits… the bag delivery can take 2-3 hours.)
Luggage sorted, we made our way to catch the motorcoach shuttle that would take us to our new home for the next week, the Polynesian hotel on the monorail at Magic Kingdom.
And, of course, there’s nothing like a Disney movie to watch on the half hour drive to the Walt Disney World resort area to really get everyone in the mood for some Mickey fun!
The Magical Express is a free perk that Disney gives to its onsite guests. No need to bother with a rental car or a cab (which is at least $50USD one way.) Let Mickey take care of the driving. Why not be picked up in style, have your bags delivered to your room, and get whisked away to your resort… so you can hit the parks in no time flat, and start having fun right away!
