Fantastic Park-View Suite, Fantastic Service

I recently returned to the Carlyle with my two daughters to celebrate the 16th birthday of the eldest. We were treated to a fabulous upgrade – a lovely, one-bedroom suite with a view of Central Park, including a glamorous living area with backlit, built-in bookcases, large bedroom with walk-in closet, two bathrooms, and an elegant foyer. Spoiled by the personalized service of Carlyle staff, we couldn’t have had a more satisfying short holiday (6 days) as ersatz New Yorkers. Despite its atmosphere of luxurious understatement, the Carlyle has always been very welcoming to our family and great care is consistently taken to ensure that everyone feels well-attended. The restaurant is relaxing for breakfast, while Bemelmans and the Café Carlyle offer excellent evening options with great entertainment. When we think of a special vacation, our imaginations always default to the Carlyle. Thanks to Sheila for once again putting it all together for us!
