Give the Gift of Travel

We’re in the swing of things with our Christmas preps in our house!  How about you? (Or are you just finishing up Hannukah?)

It’s a little odd this year, as there’s no snow just yet – at least in Ottawa. But, we’re still watching Christmas movies, and decorating the Chrstimas tree.  My daughters’ school gets them to wear holiday ties for the month of December (forgoing their usual uniform ties). It all helps add to the spirit!

The missing snow does seem to be impacting shoppers, however. Are you hitting the stores to get your gifts? Are you still browsing online? Or are you waiting for the last minute, and hopefully some snow, to get you in the mood?

The calendar ticks on. There are only 12 days left.  But – I can help! There can be no easier shopping than you picking up the phone to call me. I can lighten your burden! Because travel is more than a gift. It’s a memory!

It’s the best gift there is. And even if you’re not going to travel right away, you can purchase a gift to be consumed later in 2016, I can still help you now with the wrapping! 🙂 I helped a client arrange for a New York City holiday as a Christmas gift this week, and my friends at The Plaza are going to mail him some hotel trinkets to wrap for under the tree!  (How cool is that?) And I had another family arrange a Disney Cruise as a gift, and I am putting together some videos and a plush toy for Mom and Dad to wrap up. I am even creating a “certificate” that the parents will frame to include in the gift presentation.  

We can gift wrap the world!  What better inspiration can you give?

Speaking of Disney, their cruise video is worth including again in this week’s newsletter. Give it a watch! It certainly makes me smile.  Watch these kids’ reactions to learning that their parents have given them a Disney Cruise. It’s priceless. (But fair warning – there is lots of high-pitched screaming. Disney kindly adds some sub-titles to transcribe the excitement into English. :-)…)
