I had a fantastic presentation with Quark Expeditions yesterday in Ottawa. We had a great group of engaged folks show up to learn about the Arctic and Antarctica. My partner from Quark Expeditions drove to Ottawa from Toronto yesterday just to share his passion about all things polar. It was a great afternoon!

There was a lot of interest in Quark’s Canadian Arctic trips in particular, including their land expeditions to Arctic Watch (profiled below under Vast trips section), as well as fantastic opportunity to make polar history on an exclusive icebreaker voyage on the legendary Kapitan Khlebnikov with Col. Chris Hadfield.
Chris Hadfield will be joined with his son as guests on a Generator program (think next generation of Ted Talks). And, Quark is also working to confirm actor, singer, writer Kevin Bacon will also be onboard. How cool and inspiring would that trip be?
