The Power of Vision & VAST
VAST = Virtuoso Active & Speciality Travel
You’ll recall that I run my own travel agency, Lush Life Travel, as an independent affiliate of Vision Travel (Canada’s largest independently owned travel agency). Lush Life and Vision are leading members of Virtuoso, the world’s largest luxury travel network.
Last week in Mont Tremblant, I was pleased to have won this award at my host agency, Vision Travel‘s annual conference, called the Power of Vision. It was nice to be recognized as a top sales performer and Virtuoso active travel specialist. I love curating my clients’ travel dreams.
And last week,I was also honoured by my luxury travel network, Virtuoso. I was pleased to see my picture pop up on Friday’s Virtuoso Active & Specialty Travel (VAST) quarterly call for adventure specialists, and be congratulated for sales with VAST partners. I was also honoured to recently accept an invitation to serve on the VAST advisor task force, looking at re-invigorating VAST product and supplier offerings.

I really do love adventure travel. Sure, “fly and flop” holidays certainly have their place in our list of travel experiences, but doing something different is really where my heart lies. I love helping clients find experiences they cannot google. I love delivering experiential learning experiences for travel. I love help curating travel dreams. And I love my VAST partners.
I love working with the “best of the best” partners. Lindblad Expeditions, Big Five Tours. Rocky Mountaineer. Paul Gauguin Cruises. Tauck Tours. Natural Habitat. Butterfield and Robinson. Backroads. Nomadic Expeditions. This week, I’ll be participating in my first task force meeting with my VAST partners.
I was thrilled to have accepted the invitation to be an advisor member of the VAST Task Force. And I’m looking forward to playing a role in forming how VAST is shaped going forward.
