Rosewood London
What a great hotel in east central London. My family and I arrived to a wonderfully warm welcome, and amenities of chocolates and goodies from my thoughtful Virtuoso partners. We thoroughly are enjoying our stay. And – we’re walking distance to several London shows (Lion King, Mamma Mia, Carole King are just down the street), as well as some spots like the New Scotland Yard and the London School of Economics – plus iconic spots like the London Eye and Big Ben.
The courtyard and gated entrance are just terrific, and this old insurance company’s foundations are still visible and it’s heritage protected, even while the hotel grew up around it with renovations.
The Rosewood London does everything I’ve come to love and respect about the Rosewood hotels I’ve gotten to visit so far (like The Carlyle in NYC, Hotel Georgia in Vancouver, Jumby Bay in Antigua, and Rosewood Mayakoba in Mexico). It truly does have a sense of place! Even it’s hotel room doors mirror the door at 10 Downing.
And once you’re inside the Rosewood London – it’s the little things that also make their guests feel at home – free wifi throughout the hotel with no password, complimentary water in your rooms each day, and when room service is delivered, they set a table (round wooden tables – no desks) like you would at home.
Here are some snaps. (Justin Bieber recently stayed here too in Manor House, a villa-like set up inside the Rosewood London. I think he’s following me around! He’d stayed in the Crown Melbourne just before I was there in April. :-)….)
Let me know if you’d like to visit the Rosewood London, and I can VIP you, and negotiate some special amenities on your behalf.
We can schedule a bucket list trip planning session. Email me at [email protected] or call 613-837-0699, and we’ll strike a time to get the planning done – so you can get to the Rosewood London!
