The Great Canadian Theatre Company is holding their Gala, and Viking River Cruises and I have donated a cruise. You are most welcome to attend one of the lawyer plays being staged this weekend. The CCLA/GCTC Annual Lawyer Play is always an event. Seeing Ottawa’s legal community putting on a professional production on GCTC’s stage is worth the price of admission on its own.
But there’s a lot more going on that just the play (which is pretty great). Here are four reasons to come to the Laywer Play that aren’t about what’s on stage: 1. Tons of silent auction prizes – there’s too many to list, but expect to see prizes from Pure Yoga, The Keg, The Museum of Nature, The Ottawa Jazz Festival, Free Form Fitness, Ms. Tiggy Winkles, and so much more!
2. Whiskey, beer, and wine tastings – Andrew Peller Ltd., Kichesippi Beer Co., Top Shelf Distillers, Harwood Estate Winery, Kinsip House of Fine Spirits, and North of 7 Distillery will all be making appearances on select nights to hand out samples.
