I had a wonderful event with the Embassy of Iceland, and Lindblad Expeditions at Elmwood School last Thursday.
What a wonderful gathering! I was absolutely thrilled to host an excited group of clients to learn why Iceland is the hottest destination in travel. We were honoured to have special guest, Icelandic musician, Svavar Knútur, open the gathering by performing selected pieces. And then Ólöf Sigvaldadóttir, Attaché, for the Embassy of Iceland in Canada, presented Iceland as a travel destination. Lesa Bain, VP North American Sales, from Lindblad Expeditions presented a special expedition cruise group that Sheila is organizing for her clients on July 27th, 2016, called “Iceland Land & Sea.”
